Burglar/intruder alarms can be designed to work with either a code typed into a panel or via a key fob which will set or deactivate the system.

If an alarm is triggered then a signal can be sent to your mobile phone which can also control your alarm if networked via a broadband connection.

Closed Circuit Television or CCTV cameras can be standalone or record directly to a hard drive. If networked via broadband you can record directly to an SD card or NVR (network video recorder) which can be accessed and viewed on any PC, smartphone or tablet from anywhere in the world.
